OH, was it HOT!! (in all meanings of the word)
The Venue was a true Dive, but during this period, was THE place in the South to Listen to ALL the Great Ones on Tour. The Allman's were, after all, a GD "copy"--Two Lead Guitars, Two Drummers (please Allman Fans, don't hate me. Favorite memories are of their free shows every weekend @ Piedmont Park. The Cops hated it; gassed us more than once !!!). Only two touring groups w/this player config. But what tunes that day,,,if memory serves !??!
Location
The guys had to borrow The Allman Brothers equipment. A rowdy party of dancing workingman's dead circles. Fun for all. How I wish there was a tape of this show around!
