You memory failed you
I never understood "Let the Good Times Roll", its just one of those tunes that is just "there".This was a tuneup show for what I consider to be the last great Garden run.

wow what a run at the garden in 88
The first night with" let the good times roll" blew me away. By this point, as a dead head, I was so into the whole experence. I love NYC shows more then anything else. I leared that doing whipits, mixed with acid, is not a real great mix. Man did that shit blow my mind. And the set list from the first night. Wow. I couldnt wait for the rest of the shows.

If my memory is not failing me I believe this was Bruce Hornsby's 1st show with the band? I was sitting right in front of Jerry. This was one of the best shows I ever saw.Jerry was looking at me all night.I had a cigar in my hand I guess he thought i was going to give him one Latter found out he bought his cigars from the same store as me.what a great show!!!!!!!!!!!
