May 23 - May 29, 2011
Greetings, and welcome back to the Tapers' Section, where this week we'll have a double dose of 1969 Grateful Dead music, plus a nice taste of some great 1972 Dead.
Our first selection is from 7/3/69 in Colorado Springs, CO, where we have this nice mix of 1969 music featuring Green Green Grass of Home, Slewfoot, Sitting On Top of the World, Morning Dew, High Time, Me and My Uncle, Casey Jones.
Just two months later, the band found itself back home playing the comfortable confines of the Family Dog, with a set featuring China Cat Sunflower>Doin' That Rag, Dew, Easy Wind on 8/30/69. You might recall we played you some music from the previous night's show last week here at the Tapers' Section, including a Good Lovin' sung by Jerry.
Our final batch of Dead this week is from 10/17/72 in St. Louis, the first of a three night run. We recently played you music from the middle night, so we're very pleased to play you more from this great run: Promised Land ; Bird Song ; El Paso ; Sugaree ; Me And My Uncle ; Tennessee Jed ; Big River ; China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider ; Black Throated Wind ; Deal.
Be sure to tune in next week for more fine Dead from deep within the band's archive. As always, we encourage you to write to us with questions or comments.

After a few days, I finally figured this sucker out.
So is this the cover artwork for this disc set in the E72 release?
thanks!
Thanks very much for the help. I've emailed customer service so we'll see how they go. I've only moved a couple of kilometres but I've already had some problems with packages getting stuck and not being diverted. I don't even want to contemplate the Europe 72 box sliding around the back of a mail van (anymore than it has to).
...is listening to "Caution (Do Not Step On The Tracks)" from April 29, 1972.
This is one far-out dog with very good taste, man.
Big juicey Caution! Keep listening.......
Nothing happens when you finish the puzzle. The lines disappear and that is it.

I'll call customer service and see if I can change my credit card and report back to here.
