was a Saturday Night on a Thursday!
Excellent show start to finish, woohoo!
7 Walkers is a must see for the faithful
and all inbetween. Go and see these guys
you'll love it! I had so much fun...
Thank You All!
The instruments all worked so well
with each other and the 7 instruments
rocked me right! Wow, just got up a
few minutes ago
and
wished I had a CD to put on and recap.
Left me wishing for more, ahhhhhhhh.
The McLovins opened up and I really was late getting there so I didn't see much of their show; but they were fantastic! The music was flowing like a river of sound, great job y'all. The time inbetween shows was great for drinking and hanging. Then the 7 Walkers took the stage and I did not know what to expect as this was my first time seeing them. I was sure it was going to be good as I am schooled in such things but once the first note ripped the sounds open OMG...it was brand new but steeped in rock and roll history. The drums, riffs, bass, harmonica, keys, trombome, and lyrics transported me into a brand new experience that had me dancing and smiling in a brand new old-fashioned kinda way! The GD tunes tucked me in right and the new Robert Hunter music feels necessary as it was so right and real and well played, Bravo! This CD will be a must have. I cannot wait til that CD is out, don't miss out on that sound ya'll. What a wonderful "show". "This is awesome!"...I thought to myself, in the midnight hour, at the Revolution Hall!
Rock on 7 Walkers! ---------------(------@ Bravo!

Billy,
Great sound, but I'm not suprised wouldn't have expected anything less from you Mr. Kruetzmann.
One favor, please remember that there is this place called the Mid-West and we would love to have you book some dates....Indy...Chicago....Columbus....St. Louis etc. Eeven bring some new art or how's that wood carving going? Bring Amy also.
"Woven Fish" 1-of-85 made my entire winter when I opened it on Christmas. Many thanks.
Peace and blessings,
Scott & Angie (Indianapolis)
Great time Friday night... the group was tight and rocked hard. Awesome to hear some new stuff, and the old stuff was fresh too. GAMH is a great venue and Papi puts a great new spin on things. Bill is always great. Danced my ass off!!
If you get a chance to catch them down the road... do it!
thanks for the report!
I went to see 7 Walkers with Billy Kreutzmann tonight at the Great American Music Hall and I think they're really good, and it's not just because I'm a longtime Deadhead, it's because of Papa Mali. He's one of the best Jerries. Maybe somebody will post the setlist.
